  • SHOW NEWSLETTER & CORONA VIRUS PROCEDURES

As the Horn Theater, CSN is still shut down at this time, so we have decided to use our own space for a little show. On Sat. June 26th classes will be held in a decorated studio B. We predict we will still be dealing with social distancing and limited capacity, so seating will not be available. We will be having the show professionally filmed by our long time videographer, Sundance Video. DVD, DVD HD, and HD thumb drives will be available at very reasonable pricing. To limit the number of persons in the building, the school will be split into Group 1, Adv. and Int./Adv. classes starting at 2:00, then Group 2,about 3:30, Beginner to Int. class. Exact scheduling will be in a later newsletter. Kids in multiple classes, will change costumes in between their numbers in studio C next door. Students will need to be dropped off and picked up in a timely manner.

Learning the class number: Classes start learning their numbers in the middle to the end of March.

Please understand that the performance is not mandatory, but we encourage everyone to participate enthusiastically in this special event. The benefits to each student are many. It gives them a chance to be someone special while building confidence, personality, stage presence, teamwork and a sense of great accomplishment.

Commitment:  Once class numbers are being taught, the staff and I must stress the importance of making and keeping commitments.  It puts a great burden on fellow dancers, teachers, and the outcome of the entire show if your child misses classes while the dance numbers are being taught.

Costumes: We and the teachers are trying to keep cost at a minimum. Some classes with have no charge at all with loaned outfits, others using dancewear the kids already have with a few accessories, and some will need to buy a costume. For safety reasons there will not be a costume book this year, but we have attached pictures when available.

No costumes will be ordered unless payment has been made, thus securing your child's place in the show. Once shipped, there are no costume refunds or returns, except for size exchanges, as the manufactures do not allow for this.

    Costume Price:

Your total for costumes is $         with tax. Payment is due in full by March 20th.

If there is no photo, then your outfit is dancewear or loaned

Opening and Finale numbers: Obviously, we will not be able to have these numbers this year

Lobby Comfort and Safety For everyone’s safety, please allow people to have their “own space” maintaining at least 6 ft. social distancing. Also for everyone’s comfort, please keep any conversation with others or while on the phone at a considerate noise level.
